Very nice just one problem!
A very nice purchase and I do not regret it one bit. I did have a problem with it where my screen continued to black out for a second and regain vision over and over again if I moved the headset in certain places. I figured out that it was because of the 3 - 1 cord included with this purchase. The cord was used and twisted so that sometimes the cord wouldn’t connect to the headset. So for $40 I purchased a new cord and now everything works great! So all together I got a working Vive for the price of an oculus, because of the extra cord. Great Cost! Works Well!
Aside from a few minor bips in the foam and nose guarding, I'd go so far as to say this is a perfect buy for the cost! Heck- the bips were mentioned in the ad so I won't even count those. Scratch that from your brain. The system rests on my fat head really well! I can put my headset over it with comfort and ease, The viewing is a LITTLE blurry. But I am almost assured that that is my own human eyes. For less than $400 I am able to see my friends and experience new worlds again, so 10/10. It may not be the newest system on the block but it's still oh-so relevant! I've been informed that if the lenses ARE blurry and it is in fact, your human eyes, you can buy prescription lenses! Hot dang! Look, if you're looking to get into VR, I think the Vive is the way to go. Upgradeable to a point, pretty intuitive and the controller is super comfy. The Controller! Holy smokes. Great headset but it's an older headset and therefore still has its downsides
Pros: Great all around headset Fast shipping time All the extra face pieces are great Controllers are very nice Works great with VRChat and Beat Saber Controllers don't use batteries which is amazing Cons: Very overpriced at the moment due to the shortages --Everyone wants VR right now since they can't actually go outside Screen isn't perfect Headset can get heavy over time, but you get used to it Has cords but I don't plan on running around my house with VR so it works just fine Still has to have base stations set up which some people don't like --This is just preference depending on your living situation (apartment, house, etc...)Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
